Foxwoods set to commemorate 24-Karat Gold Anniversary27 January 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino, the largest resort casino in North America, will mark its 24-Karat Gold Anniversary in February with pure excitement and winning all month long highlighted by a ceremonial cake-cutting event, $240,000 in instant cash prizes, $30,000 daily slot and blackjack tournaments, special $24 menus, gold-themed drinks at select restaurants and lounges and much more! Anniversary Cake-Cutting Ceremony The official cake-cutting ceremony will take place on Monday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m. on the Retail Concourse across from Activa. All Foxwoods guests are invited to join Chairman Butler, Tribal Council and Tribal Elders Council in celebration and to enjoy a magnificent cake designed by Executive Pastry Chef Franck Iglesias, who is scheduled to open his custom bake shop, Cake by Franck, during the month. The proceedings will begin with a Tribal blessing and dance. Gaming Throughout the entire month, Foxwoods will host daily slot and blackjack tournaments. All Foxwoods guests 21+ may qualify to play once each day to win a share of the more than $60,000 in cash and prizes.
