Foxwoods Resort Casino slot revenue increases in July 202418 August 2024(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $31.2 million for the month of July 2024. This results in an $8.0 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.6 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund. This summer, Foxwoods’ guests enjoyed its annual Summerfest promotions, which continue through August. With $2.5 million in cash and prizes, including a winner-take-all $250,000 giveaway— Summerfest is Foxwoods’ biggest 100% guaranteed cash giveaway of the year. Throughout SummerFest, guests also have a chance to win their share of $10,000 in cash, and every Thursday in August, Foxwoods Rewards Members can enter the $135,000 Hot Seat for even more chances to win. Wave Foxwoods Day Party continues every Sunday at the Fox Tower Pool now through 25 August. Guests can elevate their Sundays with lavish amenities, bottle service, and the hottest DJ’s. In July, the resort casino hosted its annual Firecracker Bingo where guests could win up to $500,000 in prize payouts. Foxwoods also rolled out several promotions for guests including its 3X Rewards Points + 3X Tier Credits, 4x Tier Credits, 5x Tier Credits, 5X Rewards Points, and Pointzilla letting guests tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games. Performances that took place at Foxwoods in July include British pop-reggae band UB40, country singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson, comedians Jeff Arcuri, Bob Marley, and Jerry Seinfeld, Boys Like Girls, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Steve Earle, Yacht Rock the Dock: Christopher Cross, Ambrosia & Friends, and Cinderella’s Tom Keifer. Earlier this month, Foxwoods celebrated the grand opening of Club Newport, a high-limit gaming destination encompassing about 10,000 square feet and featuring 35 high-limit table games, including mini baccarat, blackjack, craps, pai gow poker, pai gow tiles, face-up pai gow and roulette. Guests can tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games with promotions including 5x Tier Credits on 16 August, 5x Rewards Points on 17 August, and 4x Rewards Points on 25 August. Performances that took place at the resort casino earlier this month include Slash, CES MMA 78, 90’s Rewind, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, and Midland. Looking ahead, Foxwoods will continue to roll out events and promotions you can’t find anywhere else with a fan-favorite summer celebration, Cocktail Carnival making its way back to Foxwoods, serving up carnival-inspired cocktails, carnival games, a selfie station, and interactive experiences for guests 21+ on 31 August.
