Foxwoods Resort Casino slot revenue increases in August 202416 September 2024(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $32.1 million for the month of August 2024. This results in an $8.3 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.6 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund. Foxwoods Summerfest promotions continued in August, giving Foxwoods Rewards Members more chances to win this summer with over $2.5 Million in cash giveaways and one lucky winner a guaranteed $250,000. Foxwoods also rolled out several promotions for guests including its $135,000 Hot Seat every Thursday in August; 4X Tier Credits, 5X Rewards Points, 3X Rewards Points + 3X Tier Credits, Tier Credit Mania, 5X Tier Credits, and 4X Rewards Points letting guests tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games. Performances that took place at Foxwoods in August include Slash, CES MMA 78, 90’s Rewind, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, country music group Midland, rock band Dogstar featuring Keanu Reeves, country music duo Big & Rich, comedian John Mulaney, The Lalas Burlesque Show, and Shaggy. Foxwoods wrapped up the summer season with its annual Cocktail Carnival featuring fair-themed foods, signature cocktails, food, and entertainment on 30 August. Earlier this month, the resort casino announced its Retro Remix Fridays and Saddle Up Saturdays at LIVE@Atrium Bar and Lounge, guests can enjoy signature-themed cocktails while jamming to throwback hits or honkey tonk the night away. The casino resort also announced the return of its battle of the brews, Beerfest featuring more than 150 plus beers from over 70 different breweries, microbrews, and brewpubs. Foxwood's hosted a $100,000 Super Hot Seat where two guests every hour won $5,000 in cash and five guests won a $1,250 Bonus Slot Play every 20 minutes on 1 September. Performances that took place at the resort casino earlier this month include Australian rock band Crowded House, comedians Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Chelsea Handler, Wanda Skyes, and CES Boxing. Looking ahead, Foxwoods will continue to roll out events and promotions you can’t find anywhere else with promotions including, Tier Credit Mania on 20 September, and Pointzilla on 29 September. Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of September include comedian Nate Bargatze on 20 September, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Live on 20 September, Canadian rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive on 19 September, punk rock band The Offspring on 22 September, rock icons Tesla with Sebastian Bach on September 28, and Kathleen Madigan on 27 September. |
