Foxwoods Resort Casino reports May slot revenue16 June 2021(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $32.7 million for the month of May 2021. This results in a $2.4 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue directly into the state’s budget fund. With consumer confidence rising, Foxwoods announced in May that the resort would hire hundreds of new team members to support increased demand. Foxwoods seeks to hire 300-plus team members for both full and part time positions in a variety of departments, including hotel operations, food and beverage, security, accounting and more. The resort also announced recruitment incentives including increased wages and referral bonuses to retain and attract more candidates. Foxwoods also rolled out several exciting enhancements to its award-winning Foxwoods Rewards loyalty program last month. Just in time for the summer travel season, members can now earn more points and advance tiers faster than ever. Members will reach the next tier in record time with monthly Tier Credit Multiplier Days, and will earn more Foxwoods Rewards Points every time they play depending on Tier Status with Rewards Accelerator Bonuses. In addition, members can now earn points on hotel stays, redeem points for gas at the Pequot Outpost and at even more locations at the Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods.
