Foxwoods Resort Casino announces November 2023 slot revenue15 December 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $28.1 million for the month of November 2023. This results in a $7.1 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.6 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund. Last month, Foxwoods rolled out several promotions for guests including its November Hotel Sale, allowing guests to plan their getaway to Foxwoods to receive up to 20% off their stays; Black Friday & Cyber Monday deals gave guests the chance to plan their getaway to Foxwoods to receive up to 40% off hotel rooms; the November Bingo Kiosk Game on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday’s guests had the chance to play once a day for a chance to win over $10,000 in cash and prizes, win rewards points, or a spin on the bingo wheel; 4x Tier Credits, Pointzilla, 2x Rewards Points + 2x Tier Credits, and Tier Credit Mania promotions let guests tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games. Foxwoods celebrated Native American Heritage Month through the power of song and dance with a cultural celebration that highlighted traditional dance and flute music and an Indigenous artist display on the Great Cedar Concourse that featured art from local tribal members. The casino's annual giving campaign, Stuff the Bus began on November 10 and ran until 8 December. Foxwoods collected donations of new unopened toys, stuffed animals, and more to support the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut and its “Tommy Toy” Fund program. To commemorate Veterans Day, Foxwoods partnered with the non-profit organization, Save a Suit, to host Suits & Salutes on November 10, offering veterans a VIP suiting experience with professional clothing, and accessories and an opportunity to take professional headshots, alongside on-site resources. The resort also hosted the long-anticipated return of their annual Veterans Day Parade on November 11, where local organizations, schools, valued patrons and Tribal Members gathered to pay tribute to our active military personnel and veterans. To celebrate Thanksgiving, Cedars Steaks & Oysters offered guests a four-course meal featuring Thanksgiving favorites such as stuffed turkey roulade and pumpkin pie. Foxwoods Beerfest, Battle of The Brews returned on November 4 with over 150+ beers from over 70 different breweries, microbrews, brewpubs, ciders, seltzers, and specialty cocktails. Guests enjoyed live music from legendary alt-rock band LIT, games and cravable food offerings. Performances that took place at Foxwoods in November include Marshall Tucker Band, The Righteous Brothers, comedian Bill Burr, John Legend, Ladies of R&B: Monica, Kerri Hilson, and Mya, Scotty McCreery, Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Theory of A Deadman & Skillet, and Wheel of Fortune Live. Earlier this month, the resort casino rang in the holiday season with its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on 2 December with live performances, festive treats, and special appearances from Martin Johnson, lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Boys Like Girls, and Paralympian Noelle Lambert. Kids of all ages enjoyed a magical Breakfast with Santa at Cedars Steak & Oysters on 2 and 9 December, and guests 21 and up enjoyed a holiday-themed Boozy Brunch Hosted by The Grinch at Cedars on 3 and 10 December. Lastly, performances that took place at the resort casino earlier this month included Neil deGrasse Tyson, Kenny G, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Screening and Q&A with Chevy Chase, Postmodern Jukebox, Jefferson Starship, Il Divo, Matt Fraser, and Jerry Seinfeld. Guests can tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games with promotions including 4X Tier Credits on 16 December, 2x Rewards Points + 2x Tier Credits on 17 December, and 3x Rewards Points on 27 December, and Tier Credit Mania on 30 December.
