Foxwoods Resort Casino announces March entertainment lineup

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino, the Northeast's premier entertainment, gaming, shopping and hotel destination, is hosting a star-studded lineup of entertainment acts this March. Foxwoods' wide selection of entertainment choices include concerts from music sensations, hilarious stand-up and a magical dragon with a pet Chihuahua whose act is sure to blow your mind.

Bob Marley
March 4, 8 p.m.
Fox Theater

Unforgettably hilarious Maine native Bob Marley recently celebrated 15 years as a stand-up comic. Currently one of the most sought-after comedians in the country, Marley is one of a select few comedians to ever perform on the complete late-night TV circuit. Tickets are $27.50, $40 & $52.50.

Fall Out Boy
March 5, 8 p.m.
Grand Theater

Rock band sensation since the early 2000s, Fall Out Boy is on tour in support of their 2015 studio album American Beauty/American Psycho. Upon its release date, their album hit #1 on iTunes in more than 22 countries. Fall Out Boy also wrote the featured song “Immortals” for the Oscar-nominated Disney film Big Hero 6. This American Music Award winning rock band consists of Patrick Stump on lead vocals and guitar, Pete Wentz on Bass, Joe Trohman on guitar and Andy Hurley on drums. Tickets are currently sold out.

Bob Saget
March 5, 8 p.m.

Star of many successful television series, including Full House and America’s Funniest Home Videos, Bob Saget is making his way to Foxwoods after his 9-week stint in the Broadway play, Hand to God. Saget is known for his adult-oriented stand-up style and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2014 after releasing his third one hour stand-up special, “That’s What I’m Talkin’ About.” Tickets are $26, $36 & $46.

March 6, 6 p.m.

Italian Pop singer Nino D'Angelo has been unstoppable ever since he debuted in hit '80s film "Nu na Jeans and T-shirt." To celebrate his successful 40-year career, D’Angelo has crafted his own theater production, "Concerto 80s and beyond." Special guests Ivianella and Ghaleb will be joining D'ngelo on stage this March at Foxwoods. Tickets are $79, $99, $125 $150.

Kathy Griffin made comedic history after winning 6 consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album. After a brief stretch on the Fashion Police, Griffin is back in the world of stand-up currently on her "Like A Boss Tour." Tickets are $34, $50 & $60.

Piff the Magic Dragon
March 12, 8 p.m.; March 13, 7 p.m.

With a unique magic act and his deadpan style of humor, Piff the Magic Dragon and his adorable chihuahua Mr. Piffles garnered a large fan base after appearing on season 10 of the renowned television show America’s Got Talent. This talented dragon’s jaw-dropping magic tricks will have you on the edge of your seat for the entire show. Tickets are $20.

Experience a night filled with Celtic tranquility as brought straight to you by the music genius behind the PBS hit act Celtic Thunder, Phil Coulter. In the 50 years Coulter has been performing, he has been come to be known as Ireland's Musical Ambassador. Joining Coulter on the Foxwoods stage is tenor, Andy Cooney. Cooney was recently dubbed “Irish America’s Favorite Son” by New York Times for his fantastic voice and stage presence. Tickets are $25.

An Evening with Sophia Loren

Oscar-winning actress Sophia Loren first appeared on American screens in the 1950s after starring in the Italian drama film, The River Girl. With over five decades of a successful career, Loren easily captivates audiences everywhere with her one woman show that includes intimate onstage conversations and a Question and Answer session. Tickets are $85.

Connecticut local Steve Daggett is on his way to becoming a household name in New England as a talented country singer. After auditioning for NBC's The Voice, Daggett signed with agent Desiree V. Delgado and has been performing in venues all over the country ever since. Tickets are $20.

Known for the role Tracy Jordan on NBC's Emmy Award-winning 30 Rock and his time on Saturday Night Live, Morgan truly has a talent for hilarity. Tickets are $50.

90's Remix 3 and Evening of R&B
March 24 & 25, 8 p.m.

Join us at Foxwoods as we throwback to the '90s with an unforgettable R&B lineup. This concert is filled with the unique sounds of some of the best performers of the decade that influenced modern R&B. David Cross
March 26, 8 p.m.

Emmy and Grammy Award winning comedian David Cross will be coming to Foxwoods this March on his "Making America Great Again" tour. From leader of the Zigerions Prince Nebulon to the never nude Tobias Fünke, David Cross nails every role he performs. Film credits of this comedic great include "Men in Black," "School for Scoundrels” and "Megamind" Tickets are $34.
