Foxwoods Resort Casino announces December 2023 slot revenue16 January 2024(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $32.6 million for the month of December 2023. This results in a $8.2 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.6 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund. Last month, Foxwoods celebrated the holidays with several events, promotions, and one-of-a-kind experiences, including its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, which featured a live performance from Martin Johnson singer and guitarist of the rock band Boys Like Girls, and a special appearance by Paralympian Noelle Lambert. Guest also enjoyed Breakfast with Santa, which featured a special holiday menu, Boozy Brunch with The Grinch at Cedars Steak & Oysters which featured themed foods, cocktails, and a live DJ, Kids/Teen Week with movie screenings and games, and The Holidays are a Drag, which featured drag performances and a live DJ. Additionally, guests were treated to a special viewing of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation screening followed by a Q&A with Chevy Chase. To ring in the New Year, Foxwoods hosted the ultimate New Year’s Eve Bash with a night of dancing, live music, drink specials, and two celebratory balloon drops to welcome in 2024. Performances that took place at Foxwoods in December include Neil deGrasse Tyson, Kenny G, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Screening and Q&A with Chevy Chase, Postmodern Jukebox, Jefferson Starship, Il Divo, Matt Fraser, Jerry Seinfeld, Martina McBride, Matteo Bocelli, Engelbert Humperdinck, A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage, and Shinedown. Earlier this month, the resort casino announced its January Hotel Sale, giving guests the chance to plan their getaway to Foxwoods to receive up to 30% off deluxe rooms, fine dining options, and thrilling activities for stays between 1 March and 31 May. The resort casino also announced its Dream Wedding Giveaway running now through 2 February, one lucky couple will win an exclusive experience to make their big day unforgettable. Guests can tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games with promotions including Tier Credit Mania on 14 January, Pointzilla on 15 January, 4x Tier Credits on 27 January, and the January Bingo Kiosk game, where guests can play once a day throughout January for a chance to win prizes including free admission to the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. Looking ahead, Foxwoods will continue to roll out events and promotions you can’t find anywhere else. On January 20 guests can enter Studio 54 with a Foxwoods twist as they sample all things vodka and boogie on the dance floor at the first annual Vodka Vibes tasting event, where Ty Law, former New England Patriot will share samples of his new Corvus Vodka. Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of January include Rick Springfield and Richard Marx on 19 January, Mike Epps on 20 January, Jay Pharoah on 20 January, Extreme on 26 January, and The Machine on 27 January. |
