20 August 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- From 9 to 15 September, Foxwoods Resort Casino, the Northeast’s premier resort and culinary destination, is serving up mouthwatering specials during its property-wide Restaurant Week. With modern twists on classic Italian dishes, playful Asian fare, and delectable steak and seafood, Foxwoods Restaurant Week offers something to please the tastes and budgets for guests of all ages.

Caputo Trattoria
Indulge in a three course meal at Caputo Trattoria and explore the stunning cuisine of the Italian coast. Choose from savory appetizers including the Trattoria salad with shaved garden vegetables, confit tomato, cucumber and red wine vinaigrette, spring vegetable minestrone made with acini de pepe pasta, or a bowl of New England mussels with spicy tomato sauce, fennel and sweet Italian sausage. The main course selections include a classic rigatoni Bolognese topped with a dollop of mascarpone, chicken cacciatore with herbed rice, chicken marsala with cremini mushrooms and olive oil smashed potatoes, or eggplant parmesan. For dessert, choose from chocolate fudge cake with coffee gelato, classic tiramisu or a rich chocolate chip cannoli.

Cedars Steakhouse and Oyster Bar
Foxwoods’ signature steakhouse is serving up a tantalizing menu of surf and turf for this year’s Restaurant Week. In the dining room, pesto sea scallops will be served with candied Applewood smoked bacon, arugula and heirloom tomatoes. Or, head over to the lounge to enjoy braised short rib sliders topped with bacon and tomato jam and a side of French fries, sweet potato fries or onion rings.

Guy Fieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen + Bar
Take a trip to Flavor Town with Guy Fieri’s over-the-top take on American classics. Choose from sharable appetizers like a baked spinach and artichoke dip or chicken wings with your choice of buffalo, double-barrel bbq, Old Bay or sriracha sauce. The main attractions include a bacon mac-n-cheese burger with super-melty cheese and Guy’s donkey sauce, a spicy Cajun chicken alfredo, Hawaian teriyaki chicken or a cheesesteak sub doused with more of Guys’s fan-favorite super-melty cheese. Still hungry? Guy’s dessert specials include half orders of the Cheesecake Challenge, a NY-style cheesecake topped with potato chips, pretzels and hot fudge, a mint chocolate chipice cream pie with an Oreo cookie crust, or the Strawberry Fool, which features marinated strawberries, ice cream sorbet and toasted pound cake topped with a crème anglaise.

High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge
Relax and enjoy a few rounds of bowling at Foxwoods’ luxury lanes while enjoying High Rollers’ versatile array of dining specials. Appetizer choices include Philly cheesesteak spring rolls, buffalo chicken rangoons and Rhode Island calamari. For your second course, choose one of the following: the “Hot Mess” burger stacked with a fried egg, red chili mayo, bacon, coleslaw and crispy onions on a sesame seed roll, a corned beef reuben hero with a caraway kraut swiss cheese fondue, or bucatini and meatballs with basil marinara. For dessert, you won’t be able to resist a decadent dark chocolate molten cake or chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet.

Pequot Museum
The Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center is serving up special dishes inspired by traditional Native American fare, including an Indian taco with house made chili on fry bread topped with cheddar jack-cheese, lettuce and tomato, and a chili rice bowl with “three sisters rice,” a summer harvest trio of corn, squash and beans. Or, opt for the refreshing Pequot salad featuring baby greens, dried cranberries, pear, roasted sunflower seeds, wild rice croutons and a maple cider vinaigrette.

Red Lantern
Red Lantern’s exquisite Asian flavors pay homage to delicacies of the Far East, including appetizers of steamed shrimp shu mai, hot & sour soup and Korean chopped salad. For your second course, choose from traditional Hong Kong style fried rice, fresh wok-cooked lo mein and steak teriyaki noodles with bean sprouts and herb salad. Finish off your feast with a choice of green tea crème brulee, banana cheesecake eggroll or vanilla ice cream fried in a wonton crust and drizzled with chocolate miso caramel sauce.

Stony Creek Brewery
Get in touch with Stony Creek’s “aggressively laid-back” atmosphere with specials on guest favorites like the succulent lobster rolls served two ways – the classic New England style with sherry, butter and lemon, or a spicy Mexicali twist with fajita-seasoned peppers and onions, queso freso, pico de gallo and sriracha aioli. Be sure to try Stony Creek’s signature house cocktail, Ruffled Lemonade – a sweet, slightly tart pink lemonade with tropical fruit notes and mint, topped off with a splash of Stony Creek’s Ruffled Feathers IPA.

Sugar Factory
Celebrity-favorite hotspot Sugar Factory allows guests to choose from an array of appetizers including creamy macaroni and cheese pops, fresh fried calamari with marinara sauce, and Caesar salad with a parmesan crostini. For the main course, select from brick chicken with savory mashed potatoes and creamy lemon herb sauce, fettuccini alfredo, or pan roasted salmon served with mashed potatoes, asparagus and a bacon lemon herb sauce. Be sure to save room for Sugar Factory’s famous desserts! Take your pick from a rainbow donut ice cream sandwich, brownie ice cream sandwich, or a freshly blended chocolate, strawberry or vanilla shake!

VUE 24
Nestled atop the 24th floor of the Grand Pequot Tower, VUE 24 offers a relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking views of the lush Pequot forest. This year, VUE 24’s exclusive Restaurant Week dish is a perfectly roasted chicken breast, served with a bright heirloom cherry tomato confit, charred corn polenta and a chicken jus.
