MASHANTUCKET, Conn. -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino today reported slot revenue of $36 million for the month of September. Foxwoods’ contribution to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund this month is $9.3 million bringing the cumulative contribution to the state since Foxwoods opened in 1992 to nearly $3.7 billion.

September was a lucky month for guests of Foxwoods Resort Casino. Hundreds of jackpots were awarded, and the biggest and brightest acts came through the property’s legendary Fox Theater, spectacular Grand Theater, and intimate Comix Comedy Club, including R5, Iggy Azalea, Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood.

The excitement continues in October when guests are invited to “Come on Down” to Foxwoods to try their luck not only the slots and tables but at The Price Is Right Live!, the hit interactive stage show that gives contestants the chance to win great prizes by playing classic games from television's longest running and most popular game show. Of course, there is always world-class gaming on 6,300 slot machines and 350 tables. Plus, The Pro Football Challenge continues throughout football season.

The autumn lineup of world-class entertainment includes a Rock n’ Roll Fantasy Camp featuring Roger Daltrey of The Who (October 16-19), followed by Weezer (October 24), Laura Pausini (October 26), and Stone Temple Pilots (October 31). The comedy lineup at Comix features the best and brightest comedians in the world including Anthony Jeselnick (October 17) and Steven Wright (October 18).

Foxwoods also recently announced the exclusive Northeast performance of Criss Angel "MINDFREAK LIVE" in the Fox Theater November 13–15. For the first time in more than six years, Criss Angel is venturing outside Las Vegas for this new production. This show is based on the most successful television magic show in history, "MINDFREAK," which is syndicated to over 90 countries, attracting in excess of 100 million viewers throughout its six seasons and 100+ jaw-dropping episodes.
