Foxwoods reports July slot revenue15 August 2012MASHANTUCKET, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods® Resort Casino said today that its slot revenue for July totaled $51.0 million on handle of $589.4 million. Both figures are improvements over June 2012 but represent declines of 15.8 percent and 17.7 percent respectively from July last year. This is the twelfth consecutive month that the casino has reported slot revenue in the $46-$53 million range. Over the next month, the Resort Casino welcomes headliners Duran Duran, Stone Temple Pilots and Jane’s Addiction. Slot Promotions are on tap for the Labor Day weekend and the Pequot Museum continues Comic Art Indigène, an exhibition examining how a generation of Native artists has embraced comics as an expressive medium. Foxwoods contributed $12.8 million to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund in July 2012, bringing the cumulative contribution to the state of Connecticut since the Resort Casino opened in 1992 to more than $3.38 billion.
