Foxwoods propose Hartford casino6 May 2015HARTFORD, Connecticut -- Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun want to build a Hartford based casino to offset impending competition, The Hartford Courant reported. Competition will come from neighbouring states and the tribes want to preempt it, the report said. 9,300 jobs could be impacted along with the 25 percent slot revenue that Connecticut collects from the two casinos, The Hartford Courant noted. |
