Foxwoods, Philadelphia reach deal4 December 2007PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania -- As reported by the Connecticut Day: "Foxwoods Casino Philadelphia and the city of Philadelphia today unveiled a pact in which Foxwoods invests in the city and preserves a public waterfront in exchange for the city's cooperation on land use issues. "Under the agreement, made public this afternoon, Foxwoods has committed to improving city sewer and storm water systems, alleviating the effect of increased traffic in the city and providing free public access to the waterfront, according to a joint statement..." |
