Foxwoods Patrons Support Expansion

CONNECTICUT – As reported by the Norwich Bulletin: "When casino patrons heard Foxwoods Resort Casino was adding another 2 million square feet to the facility, they had one thing to say: Bring it on.

"'I think it's great,' said George Planthaber of Kingston, N.Y.

"…Planthaber said he and his wife, Helga Planthaber, enjoy walking at the casinos and exploring all the shops and restaurants.

"They frequent Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun three or four times each year, staying at the casinos because they said they are like little communities they don't need to leave for eating, entertainment and sleeping.

"…Sandy Walsh of Danvers, Mass., also was shocked to hear the casino could get much larger.

"Walsh added she doesn't see a reason not to keep expanding the casino if people are willing to go there…"
