Foxwoods Hires HRLogix

10 January 2006

CONNECTICUT – (PRESS RELEASE) -- HRLogix, a leading provider of Web- based, paperless hiring systems, announced that they will provide recruiting solutions to Foxwoods Resort Casino. Owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, Foxwoods is the world's largest casino resort with nearly five million square-feet of entertainment, gaming, dining, shopping and resort experiences.

"As we planned our two million square-foot expansion (scheduled for completion in summer 2008), we determined that we would need to hire approximately 2,000 employees to staff the additional restaurant, gaming and hotel facilities," said Jason Guyot, Director of Employment. "By using HRLogix's unique Web-based recruiting and on-boarding solutions, we can access our applicant pools and the system much quicker which allows us to identify the best candidates and put them to work faster."

With more than 120 gaming clients, HRLogix's solutions are designed to comply with gaming industry regulations and handle the consistent need for hourly workers. HRLogix's applicant tracking system, JobLogix, will transform Foxwoods' existing Web site into a powerful, paperless recruiting tool.

"We are thrilled about this partnership with Foxwoods. This premier destination has many unique and demanding needs. We're able to customize their entire system to meet those needs and still provide the most user-friendly, streamlined recruiting and on-boarding system available," said Maryann Gagnon, HRLogix founder and president.

By automating more than 80 percent of the recruiting and hiring paperwork, HRLogix's system decreases the cost of acquiring hourly and exempt employees while increasing the speed-to-hire timeframe. The technology will play an integral role in Foxwoods' human resources department by allowing them to recruit, screen and accept applications 24/7 while automating many mundane tasks: tracking down job requisitions, filing and processing new-hire paperwork. It also automates the drug testing and background check processes -- everything is performed at the click of button via the Internet.
