Fox Bets on Casino Reality Show

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – As reported by the New York Daily News: Fox is betting on a reality series set in a gambling hall.

"The network has picked up 'The Casino,' a show from producer Mark Burnett that will revolve around the relaunch of Las Vegas' landmark Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino on the Fremont St. strip.

"…At the center of the series will be the casino's new owners, entrepreneurs Timothy Poster and Thomas Breitling, who reaped a fortune from the sale of their startup Web site, travelscape.com, in 2000.

"Cameras also will track the professional and personal lives of the casino's pit bosses, waitresses and entertainers.

"…It's expected to air in the summer…"
