Four Winds Casinos to host job fair next week

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds Casinos are pleased to announce they will host a job fair at Four Winds Field, located at 501 South Street in South Bend, on Wednesday, 20 Juy0 from Noon to 4 p.m. The job fair, which is in support of the expansion of Four Winds South Bend, will feature on the spot hiring and $500 sign-on bonuses for select positions. Four Winds Casinos will also offer a paid Table Games Dealer Training Program which will begin in August.

Applicants 18 years of age and older are encouraged to apply online before attending the job fair at https://fourwindscasino.com/employment and will meet representatives from Four Winds Casinos to explore opportunities as Barbacks, Bartenders, Beverage Servers, Cashiers Services Representatives, Cooks, Dishwashers, Food Attendants, Food Servers, Kitchen Utility, Casino Housekeepers, Table Games Dealers, Maintenance Engineers, Valet, Slot Floor, Gaming Technicians, Security, Surveillance Operators and more! A complimentary meal will be provided and prizes will be offered including South Bend Cubs tickets, gift cards and gas cards!

Four Winds Casinos’ Table Games Dealer Training Program will run from Tuesday, August 2 and continue for six weeks through Wednesday, September 14. Participants will learn how to deal Blackjack, Three Card Poker and Mississippi Stud. Classes will be held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Four Winds South Bend Recruitment Center located in Erskine Plaza at 1290 East Ireland Road, Suite D. Classes are FREE to qualified applicants and similar classes in this area cost upwards of $850. Trainees will be paid $15 per hour for attending and those that are hired following their training will receive a $2,000 graduation bonus in which $500 will be paid on the first full paycheck, $500 paid after 90 days of continuous employment, and $1,000 paid after 180 days of continuous employment.

The expansion of Four Winds South Bend has created 350 construction jobs to date with 10 percent being Native American preference. The expanded casino resort will create an additional 350 to 400 new jobs once construction is complete in the first quarter of 2023 and offer 317 hotel rooms featuring 83 suites, an expanded gaming floor, a spa, convention area with a ballroom and meeting space, a cafe, an outdoor swimming pool, and terraces with spectacular views.
