Four Pechanga bingo players win more than $82,00013 June 2014(PRESS RELEASE) -- Four bingo winners took home more than $82,000.00 in jackpots within three weeks after playing at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Pechanga Bingo has blown out big jackpots many times since opening on July 4, 2013, but four in 21 days is remarkable anywhere. The winners, all from Southern California, won progressive jackpots inside the comfortable and modern, 700-seat Pechanga Bingo facility. The most recent big win, a bingo scored by Theodore Tyler of Murrieta, Calif., totaled $11,128. Tyler came into Pechanga Bingo for the matinee session on Monday, June 9 and played in a “Pick 8s in 18” and thrilled himself by getting a bingo. The jackpot prize for this uncommon bingo game carried a progressive amount of $11,128.00. “I’m not sure right now what I’ll do with my windfall, but I’m going to enjoy my summer some more,” he told Pechanga Bingo staff. On May 31, Debra K. from San Marcos, Calif. sat down inside Pechanga Bingo for the evening session and played for five minutes. The shipping supervisor bought in for $65 and in a matter of minutes, called “Bingo!” and realized she had triggered the progressive jackpot for $28,917.00. “I kind of had this weird feeling when I came into the bingo facility, almost like my hands were itching. Some said that means you’re going to get money. I guess they were right.” She says she plans to save some of the winnings and will give some to charity. One day earlier, Robert Sauber from Menifee, Calif. scored the second big jackpot within the two week period. The retired gentleman soon realized he won the Mini Super Jackpot progressive and instantly became $23,489.00 richer. He did not have any initial thoughts on what he would do with the winnings, but said he would come back to Pechanga to play more bingo. Two weeks before the end of May winners, Eduardo Ronquillo from Temecula, Calif. started the trend of winning big summer bingo jackpots. The retired golf aficionado came in to play his second favorite game (after golf) at Pechanga and only a few minutes later, discovered that he had a bingo that triggered the Super Jackpot progressive for $18,659.00. He says he plans to buy a new set of clubs and to book tee times for himself and friends at Journey at Pechanga Golf Course. Pechanga Bingo features a new attitude in the game.
