Four Mercedes given away at Hollywood Casino

The Mercedes luxury cars and Star Play were awarded to six players in four separate shows. "This place was lit up with excitement all weekend long as we gave the fourth car away yesterday," said Senior Director of Marketing Jeffrey Sabree. "The excitement hasn't stopped either because now we have our $100,000 Hollywood Superstars Slot Tournament," said Sabree.

Phyllis Vutera, of Hammond, LA, was the first Mercedes winner Friday night and got to choose between four C300 luxury sedans with each car sporting a different color. She picked the white model. "I had a feeling I was going to win tonight. I told my husband that I was going to win," said Vutera.

Two more Mercedes-Benzes were given away in separate drawings on Saturday. Rita Rabalais of Carriere, MS, won a silver Mercedes during the day and Lauretha Garrett of Abita Springs, LA, won a beautiful black Mercedes Saturday evening.

Tamara Reed of Baton Rouge, LA, won the fourth, charcoal grey, Mercedes-Benz given away in Sunday's drawing. "I told my friends and family when we got up this morning that today was going to be a good day. I was quite sure what it was, but it turned out to be a great day," said Reed.

Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis and Hollywood Hotel offers 291 guest rooms, 1,142 new slot machines, 21 unique table games, a 6-table poker room, and a 14-station video poker bar. There are four restaurants including Tuscany Steaks and Seafood, Jackpot Java, the Bridges Grill, and the all new Epic Buffet. Hollywood also features the state's only Arnold Palmer Golf Course ranked among the top ten courses in the state and Top 40 casino courses in the country by Golf Digest magazine.

The fully renovated land-based casino has live weekend entertainment venues including Shaker's martini and piano bar and monthly concerts in the Cypress Ball Room. Legendary jazz musician Pete Fountain performs every Tuesday and Wednesday. Concert tickets are available in Tokens Gift Shop. Hollywood is the only casino resort on the Coast with all amenities on site along with 17,000 square feet of flexible function space and private meeting rooms.
