Fountains of Cash IV slot tournament winners

BAY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis paid out $110,000 in cash to the top 15 slot players in the Fountains of Cash IV slot tournament finals held on Saturday, August 25th. Another $100,000 in Star Play was awarded to all Finalists and $40,000 more in Star Play was awarded to players that advanced to the semi-finals since the slot tournament started in May.

Conchetta D. of Diamondhead, MS, jumped for joy when legendary Jazz musician Pete Fountain handed her a check for the $50,000 top prize. Rita G. took second prize of $25,000 back home to Metairie, Louisiana. Everything is okay in Oklahoma because Charles G. of Wyandotte, Oklahoma won the $10,000 third prize. The other top players won from $7,500 to $1,000.

The top 15 players out of the 250 who qualified were called to the stage to accept their prize money. None of the players knew how much they had won until it was announced on stage. "The players had a great time," said Director of Player Development Joseph Phelps. "I don't know who enjoyed it the Fountains of Cash IV slot tournament the most, the players or us," said Phelps as he helped Fountain with the checks.
