Forty-two elderly women arrested for gambling after police raid their Cyprus den

CYPRUS -- Forty-two female seniors were busted in a gambling den in Limassol, Cyprus according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The raid resulted in the confiscation of less than 100 euros ($150 USD) in stake money.

The motivation for the raid appeared to be complaints from neighbours, the report said.

Most of the women arrested were in the 75-85 year old age range and if convicted may face small fines, according to the Daily Mail.
