Former Fitzgerald's getting $20 million facelift as The D Las Vegas20 August 2012LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The D Las Vegas, formerly Fitzgeralds, is getting a $20 million facelift, according to the Detroit Free Press. The new owner Derek Stevens, who hails from Detroit, has been upgrading the property since April, the report said. The D will have something of a Detroit theme and is being marketed already with billboards in Michigan, according to the Detroit Free Press report. Upgrades already include renovations to the casino and the overhaul of hotel rooms, the report noted. |
