Former casino boss returns19 October 2006ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the New Jersey Courier-Post: "Former Caesars president, Gary DiBartolomeo, cleared the final hurdle to his return to prominence in the gaming industry Wednesday when the Casino Control Commission approved his application for a key employee license. The key license allows him to work in an executive capacity. "DiBartolomeo is vice president of national marketing for Resorts and Hilton in Atlantic City. He's held his current position since receiving a temporary key license back in June. Prior to that, he held a lower level casino license issued in March, 2005. "…The commission stripped DiBartolomeo of his gaming license more than five years ago for failure to come clean about his gambling addiction and its impact on his finances. "…Linda Kassekert, commission chair, said DiBartolomeo took every step required to rehabilitate himself, including forming his own G.A. program…" |
