Florida Tops Tribal Gaming States15 June 2005FLORIDA – As reported by the Miami Herald: "The Seminoles' two Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos propelled Florida into the nation's top 10 Indian gambling states last year, with the state's seven gaming centers raking in almost $1 billion in revenue, according to a new study. ' 'Florida continues to be the hot spot for multimillion-dollar growth in Indian gaming, and it is going to get bigger,' said Alan Meister, an economist with Los Angeles-based The Analysis Group, and author of the 2005-2006 Indian Gaming Industry Report, released to the casino industry today.
