Florida Senator proposes online lottery bill1 December 2014FLORIDA -- Florida Senator Gwen Margolis has tabled a bill, SB 120, that could see lottery tickets permitted to be sold online. The text of the bill reads that the department should "Have the authority to create a program that allows a person who is 18 years of age or older to make an online purchase of a Florida lottery ticket. The department may adopt rules to administer the program." The legislation, if approved, would be enacted July 2015.
