Florida: Native American casinos took in $2 Billion in 1st year2 March 2011TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- In the first year of its expanded gambling deal with the state, the Seminole Tribe took in $2 billion, according to the St. Petersburg Times. Overall Indian gaming revenue rose 10.4 percent over the previous year, a particularly strong performance given the economic climate, the report said. Florida is now the fourth most lucrative state for tribal gambling, the St. Petersburg Times reported. |
