Florida: First vote approved in destination casinos bill

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Florida's destination casinos bill was approved in a Senate Regulated Industries Committee vote today, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

The bill has been overhauled and now includes a referendum requirement for counties that wish to consider a casino, the Orlando Sentinel said.
