Florida casino upgrades gaming floor

HALLANDALE BEACH, Florida -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mardi Gras Casino is now the only state governed casino that has upgraded to the Game King poker software by IGT. This gives players the option to choose poker, keno, and blackjack at $0.25, $0.50, and $1.00 denominations. The software was installed last week on 20 (twenty) poker slot machines near the center cage in the casino's first floor.

Mardi Gras Casino is also converting ten (10) nickel slot machines this week with newly approved themes. Below is the list of the games being added:

· Jungle Wild® II
· Queen's Knight® (2 machines)
· Xerxes™
· Mystical Dragons®
· Fortunes of the Caribbean ®
· Dean Martin's® Wild Party (2 machines)
· Glitz (2 machines)

Mardi Gras Casino opened its doors in 1934 as The Hollywood Kennel Club. In 2006, an extensive renovation project added 1,100 slot machines and a poker room to this landmark property. Two years later, an additional 200 slot machines were installed on the third level Balcony. In November of 2009, the Big Easy Poker Room was relocated and expanded.

Mardi Gras Casino is located at 831 North Federal Highway on the corner of US-1 and Pembroke Road. The casino offers 1,300 Las Vegas-style slot machines including new linked Progressive slots, video roulette, and virtual blackjack; 24-hour action packed poker; simulcast and live greyhound racing; and various dining options.
