Five Kewadin casinos are now reopen

All five Kewadin casinos are now reopen to the public. Those properties are Kewadin St. Ignace, Kewadin Sault Ste. Marie, Kewadin Manistique, Kewadin Hessel and Kewadin Christmas. These five casinos will follow many new regulations, some of which are listed below.

Team Member and Guest Health Concerns:
  • Team members and guests that are not feeling well are asked to stay home and follow CDC guidelines
  • It is recommended that individuals with a compromised immune system or those that are vulnerable take special precautions and/or consider not visiting a Kewadin property at this time
  • Team members have been given clear instructions and are thoroughly trained on how to swiftly respond and provide support to all guests while on property
Team Member and Guest Arrival:
  • Guests must be of the age of 19 or over to enter the property at this time
  • All properties will monitor and adhere to appropriate guest capacity limits
  • All active entrances will have team members present to welcome and conduct a temperature check for all guests and team members entering the property. All temperature checks will be done with an infrared thermometer that does not require personal contact
  • Guests and team members with a temperature 100.4 degrees and above will be required to submit to a secondary temperature check and will not be permitted to enter if the secondary check is also 100.4 degrees and above
  • Smoking will be limited to designated areas only
  • Entrances will be limited at Kewadin Casinos Sault Ste. Marie, Manistique, and Christmas. Active entrances can be found here or on our Facebook pages.
Personal Protection Equipment:
  • Team members and guests are required to wear a mask in public spaces. A mask will be provided to *Plexiglass barriers have been placed between team members and guests where possible.
  • Gloves will be provided for guests that request them while supplies last.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers have been increased throughout the property both front and back of house areas as well as key guest areas. Sanitizing dispensers are available at all high traffic areas as well as placed throughout the gaming floor for convenience when moving to new slot machines
  • Signage will be placed throughout the property as a reminder of the proper way to wear, handle and dispose of PPE equipment
Cleaning/Sanitizing Protocol:
  • All restrooms, elevators, counters, furniture, workstation, doors, kiosks, ATM’s, frequently used equipment and multi-touch areas will be sanitized consistently in both team member and guest areas
  • Protocols and cleaning products being utilized meet or exceed the EPA guidelines and the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing protocol has increased
Physical Distancing:
  • Guest and team members will be advised to practice physical distancing by keeping a 6 foot distance from others while moving throughout the casino or standing in line
  • Floor guides and crown control equipment will be placed in high traffic areas to assist with this
