First Nation aim to build Winnipeg casino someday20 December 2013WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- The Peguis First Nation aspires to own a horse track and casino in Winnipeg according to a Global News report. The First Nations community today announced a $100 million deal with the Jockey Club at Assiniboia Downs, the report said. The deal is for shops, hotels and a convention centre and will create 1,000 jobs, the Global News report said. |
