Fire at Seminole Hard Rock Casino

FLORIDA – As reported by the Miami Herald: "A fiberglass slide that winds through a rock-like structure being constructed for a pool at the Seminole tribe's Hard Rock Cafe Casino caught fire today.

"Hollywood and Dania fire departments responded to the 12:20 p.m. blaze at the casino hotel, which is being built at Stirling Road and U.S. 441 near Hollywood. Because fiberglass material was involved, the fire sent thick black plumes of smoke into the sky.

"…The fire's cause is under investigation by Seminole police, and damages were still being assessed on Monday…"
