Fiji: Casino revenue will alleviate poverty

FIJI -- The Fijian Prime Minister has declared that all money the goverment receives from Fiji's new casino will be spent alleviating poverty, according to a Radio Fiji report.

Tourists are to be the only people permitted to use the casino, the report said.

Legislation to approve the casino is in progress, Radio Fiji said.
