Fantasy Springs Resort Casino wins two Gold Addy awards13 March 2013INDIO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Fantasy Springs Resort Casino won two Gold Addy awards at the Desert Advertising Federation's recent Addy Awards ceremony held in Rancho Mirage. Fantasy Springs Senior Graphic Designer Dennis Wodzisz grabbed gold in the collateral invitation category for his Grease-themed slot party invite. Then to sweeten the deal, Wodzisz won another gold in the packaging campaign category for his Fantasy Candy Bar wrappers, which will soon be available in the resort’s gift shop. A Gold Addy is given in recognition for the highest level of excellence in any category and is judged to be superior. Fantasy Springs Director of Advertising Mandi Witkower says, “It is such an honor to be recognized by the advertising community for excellence in creativity for the designs that we create here at Fantasy Springs. We have a great team that work well together to brainstorm and develop ideas and Dennis does a wonderful job making those ideas come to life.” The Addy Awards are held annually by the American Advertising Federation. The local Addy ceremony is part of a three-tier national competition. The winners will now compete in district competitions and then have a chance to advance to the national competitions. |
