Fantasy Springs hosts 'Hot August Nights'

Each week, the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino Pool will transition from the Wet Spot Pool Party into a professionally staged, beauty pageant style event. Each week, 12 of the most exotic and gorgeous looking Latin women will gather to represent their prospective countries and compete in a 2 tiered contest. The 1st tier allows the contestant to introduce themselves to the audience by parading on the stage in an outfit native to their country and answering a few questions from the host of the show. The 2nd tier heats up as the girls strip down to their sexy bikinis for the swimsuit phase of the competition. A panel of 7 judges will be on hand to determine the 3 weekly finalists. The 12 eventual finalists will compete in the grand finale on Sunday, August 31st for the title of "Hermosa Mujeres Latinas En El Mundo" - The Most Beautiful Latin Woman in the World. All the finalists will share in $10,000 Dollars in cash and prizes. The event is FREE and open to everyone 18 and older.

Telemundo, one of the most popular television networks in the Latin world, will be on hand to cover the event for its popular RITMO DEPORTIVO sports program. The show, which has a viewing audience of millions, is hosted by Rene Braga. Rene will be the special guest host as the event kicks off on Sunday, August 3rd. Swimsuit models Martha Gonzalez and Maya Rochelle will add a touch more beauty to the event as they will be the official hostesses. Stars from the world of Latin entertainment and sports will be present to see who will win the title of "Hermosas Mujeres Latinas En El Mundo."

"Hot August Nights" will also showcase the finest dance troupes and singers in the world of Latin entertainment. One of the finalists on "La Academia", Mexico's version of "American Idol", Suzette Marquez is scheduled to perform on Sunday, August 3rd.
