FanDuel opens sportsbook in Mississippi

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Football season officially kicks off Thursday at the IP Casino Resort and Spa. Following the successful launch of its flagship sportsbook at The Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey, FanDuel is expanding to Mississippi. The casino invites guests to witness the rebranding of the sportsbook at the IP Casino Resort Spa, adjacent to Highlights Sports Lounge. Mississippi native Marcus Dupree will place the first bet at the newly opened FanDuel Sportsbook at IP Casino Report Spa.

On-site interviews with players and executives and guided tours will be facilitated. The FanDuel Sportsbook will continue to be operated by Boyd Gaming under the FanDuel brand.

The scheduled attendees are:
  • Marcus Dupree, former collegiate and professional running back
  • Michael Lewis, former professional wide receiver and kick returner
  • Derland Moore, former professional defensive lineman
  • Dalton Hilliard, former professional running back
  • Duncan McKenzie, GM of the IP Casino Resort Spa
  • Kim Goetz, marketing director of the IP Casino Resort Spa
  • George Cole, Race & Sports director for IP Casino Resort Spa Mississippi operations

The event will take place Thursday, 13 September at 2 p.m. CT.
