Fallsview Casino Resort hosts the World Rock Symphony Orchestra

The more than 50 stars of the World Rock Symphony Orchestra - including a six-piece rock band, three male and three female rock singers, a complete gospel choir and full orchestral brass, string, woodwind and percussion sections - will perform a collection of Britain's greatest classic rock hits during 11 shows in eight days from August 17 to August 24.

The show - subtitled simply 'Britain Rocks' - includes incredible rock symphony arrangements of famous songs by The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Supertramp, Genesis, The Moody Blues, The Zombies and many others.

"Anyone familiar with the rock symphony concept knows how powerful these incredible rock anthems can be when their vocal elements are amplified by a choir and the music gets the full symphony orchestra treatment," said Greg Medulun, Director of Communications for Fallsview Casino Resort. "These shows will be dramatic, theatrical and unlike anything we've ever done at Fallsview before."

Joining the WRSO in the August line-up at Fallsview will be groundbreaking comedians Tom and Dick Smothers - accompanied as always by special guest star 'The Yo-Yo Man.' Fallsview will also host the latest in its series of international concerts in August - this time featuring an ensemble of Vietnamese artists and hosted by famous Vietnamese master-of-ceremonies Ky Duyen.
