Expansion Under Way at Silverton

LAS VEGAS , Nevada -- Construction is under way on the Silverton hotel-casino's $100 million expansion at its property at Interstate 15 and Blue Diamond Road.

The concrete below the planned $30 million, 145,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops retail outlet has been poured and steel support structures are in.

The project is on pace for November completion, General Manager Craig Cavileer said.
