Emmy-nominated comedian to visit Dover Downs6 November 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- Emmy-nominated comedian and actor Billy Gardell, known for his grounded, down-to-earth comedy and perspective, will perform at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino's Rollins Center on Friday, 16 February at 9 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at noon on Tuesday, 7 November and can be purchased online or by contacting VIP Services at 800-711-5882. Regular ticket prices range from $25 to $45. New in 2018, a limited number of premium tickets are available for $95, which includes a seat in the first five rows from the stage and early admission to the Rollins Center. Gardell, a Pennsylvania native, is best known for his six-season stint from 2010-16 on the hit CBS comedy "Mike & Molly," where he portrayed Officer Mike Biggs alongside Emmy winner Melissa McCarthy. In 2016, Gardell earned an Emmy nomination for Best Game Show Host following his work with the show "Monopoly Millionaires Club." This year, Gardell is starring as Col. Tom Parker, Elvis Presley's infamous manager, in the CMT drama "Sun Records." Gardell's other television credits include "Lucky," "Yes Dear," "Judging Amy," "My Name Is Earl," "The Practice," “Monk" and "Gary the Rat." Gardell has starred in two television comedy specials: "Billy Gardell: Halftime" on Comedy Central and "Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs" on Showtime. Gardell's film credits include "Bad Santa," "You, Me and Dupree," "Jersey Boys," "Undrafted," and voice work on "Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas."
