Edward O. wins $1 million lump sum at Foxwoods' Dream Slot Tournament10 September 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino’s $1,000,000 Dream Slot Tournament concluded on Monday, Sept. 7 with Edward O. of Coventry, RI winning a life-changing $1,000,000 lump sum Grand Prize over nearly 500 other finalists. “I just hope my wife lets me have $60 of it!” the jubilant million-dollar winner said with a laugh. “It’s my wife’s and my 50th anniversary this Friday, so the timing is great!” The top 30 finalists each were guaranteed a prize, including $25,000 won by Catherine D. of Newark, NJ, and $15,000 claimed by Raymond Y. of Delran, NJ.
