ECPokerTour to kick off in Barcelona

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The inaugural event on the ECPokerTour calendar for 2010 will be the ECPokerTour Barcelona tournament, offering a €500,000 Guaranteed prize pool. The tournament will be staged at the Gran Casino de Barcelona from March 18th, 2010.

Titan Poker, the official sponsor of the event, has launched a "Titan Poker Top Finalist Promotion" which will award the qualifier who has the best final position at the ECPokerTour Barcelona tournament with a $25,000 ECPokerTour package. The package includes entries, travel and accommodation at upcoming ECPokerTour events in 2010: in London, Malta, Venice and Vienna.

Poker players can win their seats at the three-day, €2,500 + €250 ECPokerTour Barcelona Main Event by qualifying at online satellite tournaments being staged round the clock at Titan Poker for as low as $1 + $0.10.

Players also have an option of buying in directly to participate at the ECPokerTour Barcelona tournament, either by contacting Gran Casino de Barcelona or by depositing the necessary funds in a special "no play" tournament in the Titan Poker software, which will transfer their fees to the ECPokerTour organizers.

The ECPokerTour previously staged highly successful tournaments in Madrid in 2008; and in Salzburg and Malta in 2009.
