DraftKings announces return of Sports Betting National Championship

(PRESS RELEASE) -- DraftKings announced the return of its popular Sports Betting National Championship. The three-day event will take place from 5 November through 7 November at the Envue Hotel in Weehawken, New Jersey. Players will battle for the $1 million top prize.

Customers participating in the tournament are required to pay a $10,000 entry fee which is put towards a tournament Bankroll of $5,000 and a prize pool of $4,500. Each contestant will be provided a designated tournament account.

The eligible sports participants can place wagers on are NBA, College Football and NFL games. Additionally, customers are only able to place wagers between 6 p.m. on Friday, 5 November until 1 p.m. on Sunday, 7 November.

Rules to contest:
  • Only bets on NFL, CFB, and NBA are allowed.
  • You must bet at least $1,000 across the three days to be eligible to win leaderboard prizes.
  • Players with the highest bankrolls at the end of the tournament will share the leaderboard prizes.
  • All players take home their final bankroll.
  • Only one entry per player.
  • Bets can be placed from anywhere in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia or Wyoming. Hang out and watch the games at our VIP Sportsbook Venue in New Jersey or bet on-the-go.
