'Dr. Dunkenstein' to kick off Hoops Central as Westgate Las Vegas13 March 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, now Host Committee Chair for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, and former NBA star and NCAA College Basketball legend Darrell "Dr. Dunkenstein" Griffith will kick off HOOPS CENTRAL at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Held Thursday, 15 March through Sunday, 18 March, HOOPS CENTRAL will offer guests a chance to watch all of the college hoops actions on giant HD screens in a smoke-free environment.
