Downtown Grand to host authentic luau4 April 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- "We're gonna need a bigger boat." With 11 sold-out dinners crossed off the map, Captain Scott Commings is testing his sea legs and quadrupling the passenger manifest for a unique Culinary Boat Trip experience to the beaches of Hawaii for an authentic luau atop the Citrus Grand Pool Deck at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas on Friday, 27 April at 7 p.m. Set against the backdrop of one of Las Vegas' most scenic rooftop pools and supported by Hawaiian décor and island entertainment, this ticketed experience looks to embark on its first journey away from the lower 48 and offer guests a one-of-a-kind Hawaiian excursion, complete with the most picturesque and over the top menu to date, highlighted by a WHOLE roasted pork. "2018 has picked up right where 2017 left off," says Commings of his monthly Culinary Road Trip Series. "We love our intimate brand but we are always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of the overall experience while accommodating as many guests as possible. Citrus is the perfect setting to celebrate Hawaiian culture in a big way and officially mark the launch of pool season in Vegas." fruit
Along with Hawaiian trivia, sunset views and complimentary flip-flops, all guests will be entered for a chance to win a Citrus summer cabana. No Culinary Road Trip dinner would be complete without a stamp on the 2018 Culinary Road Trip Passport. The more Road Trip cities visited, the more great rewards and dining experiences guests will receive for future visits to the Downtown Grand. Tickets to the multi-course dinner are just $55 per person and include perfectly paired, themed cocktails. Tickets are now available for purchase via eventbrite and are based on a first come, first serve basis. |
