Dover Downs to host Delaware Poker Championship7 August 2014(PRESS RELEASE) -- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino is proud to host the Delaware Poker Championship IV $100,000.00 Guarantee Tournament (DPC IV) on Saturday, Aug. 30 beginning at 11:15 a.m. in the Crown Royal Poker Room. The buy in is $500, and preregistration is available in the Poker Room. As part of the Player Appreciation weekend, tournaments are “no fee” so the entire buy in goes into the pot. Several pre- and post-event tournaments flank the DPC IV tournament. On Friday, Aug. 29, there will be a tournament with a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool and a $200 buy-in at 11:15 a.m. On Saturday, Aug. 30, the DPC IV begins at 11:15 a.m. with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and a $500 buy-in. The Sunday, Aug. 31 tournament has a $100 buy-in and a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool, beginning at 11:15 a.m. Monday’s buy-in is only $35 and the prize pool is guaranteed to be at least $3,500. Multi-table satellites will be held on Aug. 25, Aug. 27 and Aug. 28 at 7:15 p.m. with a $55 buy in. One in every ten participants will win a $500 seat into the Aug. 30 DPC IV tournament. Single table satellites will be available and occur at any time with a minimum of ten participants to win a $500 seat into the DPC IV tournament. The enormously popular, monthly $25,000 guaranteed tournament will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 11:15 a.m. with a $199 buy-in. |
