Dover Downs presents $30,000 guaranteed poker tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Eight Texas Hold'em tournaments with combined guaranteed prizes of $65,000, including one with a $30,000-guaranteed prize pool, highlight the 26-29 May Getaway Weekend at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino's Poker Room.
The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:
- Friday, 26 May, 11:15 a.m.: $5,000 guaranteed, $65 buy-in, 25-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
- Friday, 26 May, 7:15 p.m.: $2,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
- Saturday, 27 May, 11:15 a.m.: $30,000 guaranteed, $225 buy-in, 30-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
- Saturday, 27 May, 7:15 p.m.: $2,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
- Sunday, 28 May, 11:15 a.m.: $15,000 guaranteed, $125 buy-in, 25-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
- Sunday, 28 May, 7:15 p.m.: $1,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
- Monday, 29 May, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, $80 buy-in, 15-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
- Monday, 29 May, 7:15 p.m.: $25 Beginner's Tournament.
There will be three satellite events for the Saturday, 27 May, $30,000-guaranteed tournament. One player out of every nine entries will earn a seat into the tournament. The satellite schedule is:
- Monday, 22 May, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in.
- Wednesday, 24 May, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in.
- Thursday, 25 May, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in.
Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the May satellites and tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the May tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.
There will be a limited number of $49-per-night hotel rooms for players who participate in the 26-29 May 11:15 a.m. tournaments. There will also be $29-per-night rates available during the week of the satellite tournaments with four hours of poker play, using the promo code CAST17.
Additional May promotions in the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room include:
- Cash Back: In Texas Hold'em cash games, players can earn $2 in cash and $1 in comp per hour of play. Visit poker room for complete details.
- Bad Beat Hands: In many cash games or tournaments, lose with a hand as low as Jacks Full and collect a bonus of $300-$600.
- Daily High Hand Contests: Win up to $900 from noon to 2 a.m. Payouts on the even-numbered hours.
- Hot Seats: Win up to $900 at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
- $100 High Card: First full cash table before noon receives a $100 high-card hand.
- Daily $50 Food Comp: Highest winning hand from 10 a.m. to noon receives a $50 food comp.
