Dover Downs Poker Room offering $40K in guaranteed prizes in January

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Three no-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments, including one with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool, will be featured during the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room's next Tournament Weekend from 26-28 January.
The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:
- Friday, 26 January, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, $125 buy-in, 25-minute blinds.
- Saturday, 27 January, 11:15 a.m.: $25,000 guaranteed, $200 buy-in, 30-minute blinds.
- Sunday, 28 January, 11:15 a.m.: $5,000 guaranteed, $65 buy-in, 20-minute blinds.
In addition, there will be two satellite events for the Saturday, 27 January $25,000 guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat into the event. The satellite schedule is:
- Wednesday, 24 January, 7:15 p.m.: $30 buy-in, 12-minute blinds.
- Thursday, 25 January, 7:15 p.m.: $30 buy-in, 12-minute blinds.
Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the 24-25 January satellites and 26-28 January tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack. Tournament participants also receive 12 Capital Club points and $3 in comp for participating in each tournament from 26-28 Januar.

- Cash Back: In Texas Hold'em cash games, players can earn $2 in cash and $1 in comp per hour of play. Visit poker room for complete details.
- Bad Beat Hands: In many cash games or tournaments, lose with a hand as low as Queens Full and collect a cash bonus.
- Daily High Hand Contests: Win up to $900 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Payouts on the even-numbered hours.
- $100 High Card: First full cash table between 9 a.m. and noon receives a $100 high-card hand.
