Dover Downs hosting six big poker tournaments during March Getaway Weekend17 February 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room's latest Getaway Weekend is set for March 11-13, featuring six no-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments, including one with a $35,000 guaranteed prize pool on Saturday, March 12. The poker tournaments include three events with $5,000 or more in guaranteed prize pools. The complete schedule for the weekend includes: -- Friday, March 11, 11:15 a.m.: $15,000 guaranteed, $165 buy-in, 25-minute blinds -- Friday, March 11, 7:15 p.m.: $2,000 guaranteed, $45 buy-in, 20-minute blinds -- Saturday, March 12, 11:15 a.m.: $35,000 guaranteed, $225 buy-in, 30-minute blinds -- Saturday, March 12, 7:15 p.m.: $1,500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds -- Sunday, March 13, 11:15 a.m.: $5,000 guaranteed, $65 buy-in, 20-minute blinds -- Sunday, March 13, 6:15 p.m.: $500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, Deep Stack Turbo In addition, there will be two Satellite events for the March 12 $35,000 guaranteed tournament, where one in 10 players will win a seat into the event. Satellite dates and times are as follows: -- Monday, March 7, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in, 12-minute blinds -- Wednesday, March 9, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in, 12-minute blinds Hotel rooms throughout the weekend will be only $49 per night, using promo code CMAGW16, with a registration in either the $15,000 guaranteed tournament on March 11 or the $35,000 guaranteed tournament on March 12. Texas Hold'em cash games pay $2 per hour in March, with hours tracked weekly Sunday through Saturday. With a 25-hour minimum necessary to qualify, cash can be collected the following Friday through Sunday. All cash games also pay $1 in comps per hour in March, with no minimum to qualify. Other March highlights include a $300 prize for the highest winning hand from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday, a royal flush bonus worth up to $600, and all of the best sporting events on our big-screen TVs, including the top college basketball tournament contests. |
