Double Down Interactive expands business

14 September 2011

SEATTLE, Washington -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Today, Double Down Interactive continues to expand aggressively and is moving to its new headquarters located in the 505 Union Station building, near Seattle's historic Pioneer Square. The company is moving 52 employees and has room to add up to 100 additional employees in the new space. The Class A 11-story building, owned by Vulcan, Inc., is conveniently accessible from all the surrounding areas of Seattle and is adjacent to the city's major transit services including I-5, I-90, Light Rail, the Sounder, and metro buses.

Double Down Interactive, a booming game company, also welcomes Peter Anderson as Vice President of Recruiting and Human Resources and he is charged with hiring new talent to join the rapidly growing team. Currently, the company has over a dozen open positions across all functional areas including Java, Flash, Web, and Mobile developers.

Mr. Anderson brings more than 15 years of recruiting and HR experience with high-growth technology companies. He formerly was the Vice President of Recruiting and Human Resources at Big Fish Games.

"Our new headquarters mark a new chapter for our rapidly growing company as we look to expand our team and continue to create the world's biggest and best free casino application on Facebook," said Glenn Walcott, President at Double Down Interactive. "Peter has hired great developers and more game developers than any other recruiter in the last 5 years in Seattle. With Peter on board and the fact we are one of the fastest growing social game companies in the world, I'm confident we will continue to hire the best talent."

"Double Down Interactive is as passionate about its team as it is about the players of DoubleDown Casino," said Anderson. "It's an honor to be working with a leadership team that is equally dedicated to both work and play, and a company culture that reflects this philosophy."
