Detroit Casinos Take in Second Highest Total

DETROIT, Michigan – As reported by the Crain's Detroit Business: "Detroit's casinos took in more than $108.6 million in gross gambling revenue for May, the second-highest total ever, even though Greektown Casino L.L.C.'s take declined 9.5 percent from the same month last year.

"MGM Grand Detroit Casino L.L.C. led the city's three casinos with nearly $42.2 million, up 10.3 percent from May 2003. MotorCity Casino L.L.C. reported a 12.3 percent increase over last year, with $39.2 million. Greektown, with $28.3 million, was off nearly $3 million from its May 2003 receipts…"
