Detroit Casino Revenues Fall 7.4 Percent in April17 May 2005Las Vegas Sun DETROIT -- Casino revenues in Detroit fell 7.4 percent to $103.8 million last month from April 2004, according to figures released Monday by the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Two of the city's three casinos took in less money. MGM Grand Detroit had revenues of $38.3 million, a 10.1 percent drop from last year. The smallest of the city's gambling venues, Greektown Casino, took in $27 million, a 13.7 percent decrease. MotorCity Casino's revenues inched up 0.8 percent to $38.5 million.
