Depositions reveal how much Detroit needs casino revenue

DETROIT, Michigan -- The importance of casino revenue to Detroit has become increasingly apparent, the Detroit Free Press reported.

The city's emergency manager Kevyn Orr described the imminent calamity without access to casino revenue, as he explained paychecks that bounced, the report said.

Orr was speaking in depositions last week and emphasised how critically the city needed access to casino revenue, the Detroit Free Press said.
